Template of Love

ok, so it's just for a while,
but I don't need much;
just your thoughts and a laugh
mabye an occasional glance, a bit longer
than what everyone else gets.

it's a rare thing, you know,
when our masks come off so easy
and the scales slide away with so little effort;
naked and innocent isn't so simple
for the rest of them.
but me and you,
let's dance with uncrossed fingers
walk under the starlit sky
drain another glass to the other
until we have to say goodbye.
